ACT Police issue Amber Alert for missing six-year-old boy, Phoenix Mapham

ACT Police is again asking the public for help finding missing Canberra boy Phoenix Maphan.

The six-year-old has been missing since Thursday, August 23 and was last seen being driven by a woman suspected to be his mother, Tessa Woodcock, in a white 1999 Holden Vectra sedan near the ACT suburb of Weston Creek.

Police said Phoenix and his mum might also be travelling in a blue Subaru Forester with a broken rear window and damaged front end.

In a statement, ACT Police said, “Phoenix is not in the lawful custody of his mother and police are seeking to locate him as there are serious concerns for his wellbeing”.

Anyone who has seen Phoenix, the Holden Vectra, the blue Subaru Forester, or has any information about his whereabouts is urged to contact ACT Policing on 02 6256 7777.

Police use Amber Alerts as an urgent broadcasting system in “time critical situations to seek assistance from the community to safely locate a child in either a child abduction or high risk missing child case”.
