Holden Celebrates One Year Of Maven In Australia

Maven Gig Australia

After one year of service in Australia, Holden is celebrating the success of Maven and Maven Gig. Since its launch last year, the service has logged one million passenger trips with more than 1,000 members.

This month, Holden also saw its 1,000th car hit the road as part of Maven Gig. The service provides vehicles for those working in the freelance economy as a personal mobility service.

“We’ve seen massive changes to how our customers work and live, and we are embracing the challenge to offer the type of tailored experiences that people want and expect in every facet of their life. Maven Gig is just one way that we are creating new solutions that go beyond just a car, it gives people the power to choose how they want to drive and work,” said Matt Rattray-Wood, General Manager of Maven Australia.

Like Maven in the United States, the service provides Australians with unlimited kilometers, 24/7 roadside assistance, insurance and vehicle service. Right now, Maven includes the Holden Trax, Astra hatch and sedan and the Captiva.

“This first year has shown us that there is a strong appetite for our service in Australia, as we look to the future we are diving deeper into the sharing side of the business, exploring apps and what other opportunities there are to provide new mobility solutions for businesses and individuals,” Rattray-Wood added.
