Passengers at Sydney Airport's international and domestic terminals were left stranded after a power outage on Friday morning.
A spokeswoman for Sydney Airport said the airport had experienced a "technical issue" that had interrupted passenger processing at the T1 International and T2 Domestic terminals.

She said the airport was working "as quickly as possible" to fix the problem but said passengers should call their airlines to find out about delays.
Long queues were already forming at the international terminal in departures. One passenger there said staff told travellers customs had been shut down due to a power outage.
